Audience 20. The performance attracted the attention of several left-wing activists who disrupted the performance and forced the venue to cut the power 15 minutes in. We engaged in a heated debate with several of the protesters and learned that they interpreted the lyrics and thematic material of Spontaneous Infant Combustion as an anti-abortion song. We decided to "play the foil" and taunt them by pretending to express extreme right-wing views. They must have sensed the hyperbolic nature of our comments as this encouraged them to leave the venue, realizing we were not taking them seriously whatsoever.
